You can buy sheet music and accessories in Sheffield. However, if you want something quickly that isn't available at local shops I recommend Jonathan Myall Music. They are flute specialists. If you phone in the morning and what you require is in stock it should come the next day. Alternatively, you can order from them online. They also run a very successful course, Summer Music at Woldingham

Flutewise

Flutewise is a club aimed at anyone and everyone who plays or is interested in the flute. It provides flute players with magazines, events, courses and opportunities that will educate, entertain and motivate them to attain and realise their maximum potential. Flutewise is affordable and accessible.

tuttiflutey

Tuttiflutey is a fantastic summer flute course that has been running successfully since 1994. It is the only course of its kind to be offered in Scotland. "As well as covering in detail all the technical aspects of flute playing, students are also encouraged to develop and explore their own musical ideas guided by a dedicated and highly experienced team of music educators."

Hofnotes

This is a site designed to help with aural training. "Hofnote is a clearly thought-out and invaluable learning experience for music students of all ages and abilities. With the help of this site, instrumentalists and singers should be much better prepared for the aural test section of their examination."

British Flute Society

The aims of the British Flute Society: "...to advance the education of the public in the Art and Science of Music and in particular the Art and Science of Flute playing in all its aspects..." This site also has a lot of useful flute links.

Flute Focus

An international quarterly flute magazine published in New Zealand. "Flute Focus covers all types of flute from classical to wooden flutes and all kinds of music from classical to jazz to Irish music. Each issue has two main themes; one flute focused and the other related to musicians as a whole."
